IMPORTANT NOTICES

Arrival Information - It is critical that you arrive on time and  ready to depart at the "Barracuda Cafe" (see the Bocas street map on our map page for the specific location).  If you are flying into Bocas, it is highly recommended that you take the early flight.  This is because delays are typical on the afternoon flights and you must have time to shop and board the transport boat no later than 5PM in order to reach the property during daylight hours.  This is for your safety, as passage through the many islands and reefs along the way to the property is not possible after dark. 

Water and Electricity - Water and Electericity are prized commodities at Casa Paradisio.  As such, please do your best to conserve these precious resources.  When showering please take care to minimize water use.  It has been said that one way to do this is to shower with a friend or two – Hah!  Seriously though, when showering please turn the water on and wet yourself.  Then turn the water off before soaping up.  Turn the water on again after lathering up and rinse off quickly.  Finally, please always turn off the fans and lights when leaving the home.  Doing so will help us conserve critical resources and make your stay much more comfortable. 

Insects - Insects are very seldom an issue at Casa Paradisio due to its location over the water and the ocean breezes that grace the property.  However, we do provide mosquito netting for those who wish to use it and suggest that you bring one or more varieties of insect repellant just in case.  The product that we have found most effective is “Skin So Soft” by Avon.

ADA, Handicap Access and Safety Issues – Please note that Casa Paradisio is not ADA or Handicap Compliant.  Casa Paradisio’s sleeping area is accessed via a “ships ladder” type stair that may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.  Parents are also advised to accompany any child they feel is incapable of using these stairs without risk of injury.  A photograph of the stairs is located on the Home/Welcome Page for you review.  Please understand that your attention to safety is very important in such a remote location.

Telephone & Internet – Cellular Telephone Service is available at Casa Paradisio.  Michael and Christine will provide you with a  Digicel “pay as you go” phone and show you how to use it.  You will need to purchase cell phone cards  in Bocas Town before you depart for the property.  Internet Service is not available at Casa Paradisio but Michael and Christine can provide access in cases of emergency.
